On Fire

Hi y’all.

It appears I haven’t done a blog post in almost two years. In that time, I became a wilderness ranger with the U.S. Forest Service — and then a wildland firefighter (“forestry technician”) on a hotshot crew. Things have been busy, and I’ve mostly been outside, filthy and exhausted and sleeping on the ground. It’s the best.

These days I’m writing a lot about fire. With luck, some of that work will find its way into print. When it does, I’ll post about it here. Thank you!
